The CIMA International Music Competition 2023
After an incredibly difficult year for all people around the world, as musicians we feel that we have the responsibility of making the world a better place. Our language is universal and conveys humanitarian values, peaceful communication and thoughtfulness. At these times, when hope is dim and motivation low, the MUSICAL WORLD must stand UNITED. As such, we thought of creating an event that would not only bring us together and promote classical music further, but also serve as a reason for people of all ages to not give up and continue practicing further. That is why we are proudly announcing our first ever Online edition of the CIMA International Music Competition - in Cooperation with konzertsaal.at. The annual international competition that takes place in the heart of VIENNA is going to be this time available to every passionate musician on each corner of the world.
The CIMA Online Competition 2023 takes place between 1st and 8th of March and will be livestreamed on Konzertsaal.at and other different platforms. The winner of the Grand Prize, the "Wiener Klassik Preis 2021" will be selected during a Gala Concert on the 7th of March at Konzertsaal.at. The winners of each professional category will be streamed during the Gala Concert.
